PVC Mixer Machine

The PVC mixer machine (high-speed mixer) is an essential auxiliary unit for preparing dry blends. It uses a fast-rotating impeller to generate mechanical friction, rapidly heating a mixture of PVC resin, plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers, and pigments. This heat drives off moisture and allows the additives to be uniformly absorbed into the PVC particles, creating a free-flowing, homogenous powder ready for extrusion.

Our mixer features a specially designed stainless steel impeller and baffle system that creates a powerful vortex, ensuring complete mixing in just 3-6 minutes. The unit has a heavy-duty, wear-resistant lining. A precise thermocouple and a timed control panel allow you to set the target discharge temperature (typically 110-120°C for PVC). The pneumatic discharge valve is fast and leak-proof, ensuring no material segregation.

Masterbatch Preparation: Dispersing pigments and additives.

Other Materials: Also suitable for PP/PE color mixing.

1. High Speed Mixer (Hot Mixer): Consists of a mixing pot, high-speed rotating stirring blades (500-1500 rpm), motor, heating/cooling jacket, and discharge device.

Working principle: PVC resin and additives are placed into the pot. The high-speed blades generate friction and shear, converting kinetic energy into heat, raising the temperature rapidly to 100-120°C. Under this heat, liquid additives are absorbed, and powder particles are uniformly coated onto the PVC resin. When the preset temperature is reached, the hot material automatically discharges into the cold mixer.

2. Low Speed Cooling Mixer (Cool Mixer): Features a larger pot body with a cooling jacket and low-speed stirring blades (50-150 rpm).

Working principle: Receives hot material from the hot mixer. Low-speed stirring flips the material while cooling water in the jacket removes heat, quickly cooling it below 40-50°C. Cooling prevents clumping, burning (decomposition), and moisture absorption, while ensuring loose material with excellent fluidity.
