The PVC steel wire hose extrusion line is a complete production line used for producing PVC steel wire reinforced spiral winding pipes.

1. Host/Extrusion System

·Rotating disk: A large, precisely rotatable disc with a molding die mounted on it.

·Wire laying device: During the winding process, high-strength steel wire is precisely fed into the billet and wrapped by molten PVC to form reinforcing ribs.
·Roller pressing device: Press the wrapped reinforcement tube together to ensure a secure welding.
3. Traction system
Responsible for steadily pulling the formed pipe out of the winding machine.
·Crawler type tractor: The most common one uses multiple tracks to evenly clamp the outer wall of the pipe, providing stable and strong traction force. The speed is adjustable and synchronized with the extrusion speed.
4. Cutting system
Responsible for cutting continuously produced pipes into predetermined lengths.
·Planetary cutting machine (circular saw type): the most suitable cutting method for large-diameter pipes. The cutting blade not only rotates on its own, but also revolves around the pipe, achieving high-speed and smooth cutting without burrs on the cut.
5. Auxiliary equipment
·Mixing machine (high-speed hot mixer+cold mixer): used to evenly mix and pre plasticize PVC resin, stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, colorants and other raw materials, which is the first step to ensure product quality and is crucial.
·Vacuum feeder: Automatically delivers the mixed materials to the extruder hopper, reducing manual labor and pollution.
·Wire straightening and feeding rack: used to store wire coils and to straighten and tension control the wires during the feeding process.
·Pipe stacking rack/flipping rack: Receive cut finished pipes and automatically dump or remove them from the production line.
·Control system: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or industrial computer centrally controls the operation of the entire production line, including all parameters such as temperature, speed, cutting length, etc., which is a standard configuration of modern equipment.
Production process flow
1. Mixing: Mix various raw materials according to the formula in a high-speed mixer, and then cool them to room temperature through a cold mixer for later use.
2. Feeding: The mixed material is fed into the extruder hopper through a vacuum feeding machine.
3. Extrusion: After being heated, sheared, melted and plasticized in the extruder, the material is extruded into a specific cross-section billet through the mold head.
4. Winding and wrapping: The extruded billet is spiral wound on a rotating winding disc, while the steel wire feeding device precisely feeds the steel wire into the billet and wraps it with molten PVC.
5. Compression and cooling: The wrapped tube blank is compressed by a pressing wheel to fuse adjacent spiral layers into one, and is initially cooled and shaped.
6. Traction: The crawler tractor pulls the pipe out of the winding machine at a constant speed.
7. Cutting: When the pipe reaches the set length, the planetary cutting machine automatically performs cutting.
8. Stacking: The cut pipes are automatically collected and stacked by the stacking rack.
